Long-term initiatives to promote, enable, and nurture a global culture of Trustworthy AI
Trustworthy AI is the intersection of engineering best practice, human ethics, and legal regulation. Trust enables organizations to quickly and confidently embrace AI. The Center for Trustworthy AI undertakes a series of long-term projects to build and maintain freely-available resources, frameworks, patterns, practices, tools, and educational initiatives that for organizations and individuals to apply in their work. Our aim is to make “trustworthy AI” practical and actionable, not just an abstract concept. Learn more about our projects below.
The Frontier Campus
The Frontier Campus is a project of the Center for Trustworthy AI that provides a practical blueprint for globally distributed, multi-agent, multi-cloud architecture. The Center published a whitepaper, The Frontier Campus, in 2026 that focused on a vision for the Frontier Campus, blueprints and reference architecture, design prototypes, implementation priorities and roadmap, and Trustworthy AI. An emerging area of research and development for the Center is a focus on what we call the “Human Context Protocol” (HCP) — human factors required in scaling AI within an organization, including leadership capabiltiies, career profiles, and the work of hybrid human-agent teams.
AI Strategy Framework
The AI Strategy Framework is an ongoing effort of the Center for Trustworthy AI that began in 2024 with the publication of the paper Crafting your Future-Ready Enterprise AI Strategy, First Edition. The framework provides organizations—and their senior leadership, in particular—a structured path to craft their AI strategy, architecture, implementation roadmap, and to wisely target investment. The framework’s components include a mathematically weighted model across twenty-five dimensions used to to assess an organization’s AI maturity, identify risk and opportunity, as well as specific guidance, architecture, and context for each dimension.
AI Trust Forum
The AI Trust Forum is special. It brings together brilliant thinkers, innovators, policymakers, and practitioners to learn, build relationships, and work together personally solving AI engineering, business, legal and ethical challenges at retreats held in cities around the world. That’s why we call it a “Forum”, not a “Conference”. The Forum seeks to bring together leaders in business, technology, governance, public policy, and the law for retreat-style collaborative working sessions producing shared, open-source artifacts on pressing topics in trustworthy AI. It is held in various cities, with plans for London, New York, Geneva, and Washington, DC in 2026. The Forum is a core element in our mission to nurture the global AI community through education.
Ecosystem-Oriented Architecture
Ecosystem-Oriented Architecture (EOA) is an architectural approach designed for the Age of AI. Rather than segmenting functions into siloed applications as is common in more legacy enterprise and solution architecture, EOA approaches an organization’s technology estate as an evolving, interconnected ecosystem. EOA asks architects to apply six principles. These principles are the “lenses” through which we craft and execute AI strategy. Ecosystem architects, technical leaders, and decision makers should consider these when making architectural choices and investments. EOA provides these individuals and the organizations they serve with a practical architectural model to underpin their AI initiatives.
