AI Strategy Framework

A framework to craft strategy, deploy technology, and build colleague fluency in the Age of AI

The AI Strategy Framework is a project of the Center for Trustworthy AI that offers organizations and their leaders a practical discipline for setting and scaling AI strategy. The Center will publish the third edition of the framework in June 2026. The third edition adds mathematical weighting to the AI Maturity Model, a substantively reframed Responsible AI pillar, and new research assessing the strategic trends observed across organizations in approximately fifteen countries. The framework continues to evolve as practitioner experience accumulates and the AI landscape changes.
