Through our journey of developing AI teams and driving transformative AI workloads, one truth has become crystal clear: this is all about people and the culture of your organisation. The Partner of the Future will be deeply invested in AI while remaining keenly aware of the significant legal requirements that any workload or internal tool could entail. These critical legal and ethical responsibilities are the main pillar of innovation. In this talk we will explore what's up with AI risks anyway and explore 5 proven steps of how to fail at mitigations, and 5 lessons to transform your technique from real bad to real rad. If you are new to this topic and want to learn how to create safer AI systems and hot to implement real world practical strategies to implement in your AI products and internal tools, then this talk is for you.
Session 4: Wednesday 28th, 15:15
Executive Forum: Becoming a Truly Strategic Microsoft Partner
Andrew Welch, CTO + Founder @ Cloud Lighthouse
To succeed in the future, partners must make a significant transition from focusing on "apps" to working with their clients more strategically over the long term. Traditional software development projects--big engagements that focused on a single primary technology, with a defined start and end that came back around every time that tech needed to be upgraded--are being replaced by "long and thin" engagements where long-term client relationships are key, being great at BizApps isn't enough, and charging by the hour or day may not work. We'll conclude the DynamicsMinds Executive Track with a discussion of how leaders can move their partner organizations into a more strategic space and set themselves up for the future.
