Wired Differently, Leading Boldly: A Journey of Neurodivergent Strength
Keegan Chambers, Chief Operating Officer @ Cloud Lighthouse
In this deeply personal and inspiring keynote, Keegan Chambers—Chief Operating Officer and proud “Mum in Tech”—shares her transformative journey of discovering the power of neurodiversity, both as a parent and a professional.
Keegan’s story begins with the fierce love and advocacy she brought to her role as a mother to an autistic child navigating an education system that failed to see beyond academic achievement. From daily battles to secure simple but vital accommodations—like ear defenders in noisy lunch halls or soft materials to ease sensory discomfort—Keegan found her voice, and her purpose.
As she carved her path in IT, Keegan faced her own internal battles—imposter syndrome, scattered focus, and a sense of being “different.” It wasn’t until her adult ADHD diagnosis that the pieces fell into place. What she once saw as flaws became her superpowers: hyperfocus, empathy, logical thinking, and exceptional organizational skills. These strengths propelled her from humble beginnings in marketing to executive leadership, culminating in her dream role as COO.
Now, Keegan is a passionate advocate for neurodiversity in IT. She spreads awareness so others can recognize the unique strengths of neurodivergent individuals and the simple accommodations that can unlock their full potential. In an industry where over 50% of professionals identify as neurodivergent—compared to just 15–20% in the general population—Keegan calls on every person to embrace inclusion, celebrate diverse minds, and build environments where everyone can thrive.
Join Keegan for a keynote that’s not just about neurodiversity and the continuum of human thinking—it’s about identity, acceptance, and the extraordinary power of leading with empathy, authenticity, and understanding.
